Texas A&M University, College of Science

Pre-Professional Programs

(Pre-Med, Pre-Dent, Pre-Law, Pre-Vet)

The College of Science serves as a top feeder for students entering medical and dental schools from Texas A&M, one of the state's top feeders overall among Texas universities for professional study programs. Many of those students select a degree program in science to complete their pre-requisite courses with the help of the Office of Professional School Advising, which works with students of all majors to help them prepare.

LIFELINES Scholarship Program

In the 2001/2002 academic year, a special circle of former students from the College of Science at Texas A&M University established the Lifelines Scholarship Program. Lifelines is a program designed to benefit the next generation of health care industry professionals through the generosity of some of its current leaders. With a goal of 1 million dollars, the gifts, pledges and endowments stand at about $215,000. Together, through Lifelines, we can touch generations and shape the professionals charged with maintaining health and wholeness for years to come!

If you're interested in contributing to the Lifelines program, contact our development office.
