COLLEGE STATION -- Dr. Marvin Rowe
, a professor of chemistry at Texas A&M University who currently is teaching at the university's branch campus in Qatar, will present "Dating the Native America Peyote Tradition: Past and Present" Tuesday (Feb. 17) at 7 p.m. in Rudder Theater on the Texas A&M campus.
The lecture, which is free and open to the public, is presented by Texas A&M's First Year Program in Chemistry
as part of the Chevron Lecture Series, sponsored by Chevron Inc.
to illustrate the practical implications of general chemistry concepts for students and the community.
