The F. A. Cotton Medal for Excellence in Chemical Research Symposium will take place from 1:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Thursday (March 3) in the Chemistry Building, Room 2102. The lectures will be presented by Brian M. Hoffman from Northwestern University, Jeffrey R. Long from the University of California, Berkeley and Richard Holm from Harvard University. Holm also is the keynote speaker and the recipient of the 2005 F. A. Cotton Medal for Excellence in Chemical Research. The symposium will be followed with reception and dinner at the College Station Hilton Hotel at 6:15 p.m. Registration for the symposium is free. Registration for the reception and dinner is $30 per person and can be sent to MS 3255, Office of the Department Head.
