Industry Partners
As scientists, we innately encourage innovation and discovery—two key components of the intellectual engine that drives our global economy. We invite you, as leaders of industry, government, and other commercial endeavors to collaborate with us in our search for new knowledge and technological solutions that improve lives and benefit our professions.
TECHNOLOGY Commercialization
Got a great idea but need a little help making that dream a reality? Team up with the College of Science and introduce the world to your innovation in record time. Our researchers can help you fast-track the invention process through Texas A&M System Office of Technology Commercialization (OTC). On average, the OTC files a patent application every other day and executes one license agreement per week. In addition, it ranks among the top 10 nationwide in the number of licenses executed annually with small businesses.
EXTERNAL ADVISORY & DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
Since 1984, the College has benefited from the energy and innovation of its External Advisory & Development Council, which assists, advises, and supports the College in its efforts to enhance the scholarship, educational, and service functions of its various programs. Members, who are selected by invitation only, meet twice each year in College Station to discuss and implement strategies for success in three key development areas: programs; faculty and students; and research.
