Faculty Senate: Committee on Committees Shall select nominees for the various University committees for presentation to the Senate or the Executive Committee.

Faculty Senate: Diversity Committee The Diversity Committee (DC) of the Faculty Senate is committed to promoting inclusion, welcome, and support of individuals from all groups, encompassing the various characteristics of persons in our community. Among these characteristics are race, ethnicity, national origin, gender, age, socioeconomic background, religion, sexual orientation, and disability. The DC intends to 1. Annually identify a small number of high priority projects that positively influence the climate for diversity at TAMU. 2. Accomplish projects through a subcommittee structure that minimizes meetings and maximizes action. 3. Improve communication with faculty members who may be interested in participating in DC initiatives. 4. Involve interested individuals from all colleges.

Faculty Senate: Election Committee Shall conduct elections of the Senate, of Senate officers, and of Senate committees, consistent with the Constitution and Bylaws. It shall develop election procedures consistent with the Constitution and other bylaws for the consideration of the Senate.

Faculty Senate: The Budget Information Committee To study the University budget and become thoroughly familiar with its structure, provisions, and development. To provide a member to attend each meeting of the President of the University or other officers as they prepare the University budget. To advise and recommend action on any issue pertaining to the development and content of the University budget to the Executive Committee of the Senate and to the Faculty Senate as a whole.

Faculty Senate: The Core Curriculum Council Determines the extent to which the curriculum is consistent with the elements of the Core Curriculum component areas, intellectual competencies and perspectives as described by the THECB, and TAMU's educational goals and the exemplary educational objectives of THECB's common Core Curriculum are being achieved.

Faculty Senate: The Legislative Affairs Committee This committee shall annually review and report to the Senate proposed legislation that may impact the educational process or employee benefits and working conditions.
