Distinguished Professors

Texas A&M University boasts a unique and outstanding group of faculty that hold the prestigious title of Distinguished Professor. This designation denotes a faculty member who is recognized as being in the top five percent of their field by peers throughout the world.

Academic units nominate faculty members and letters of support must be received from the top researchers in the nominee's field. Each successful nominee is granted the title by the Chancellor of the Texas A&M University System.
